Woman arrested in Granite Bay for $11,000 in fake cheques

ROSEVILLE, CA (KTXL) – The Roseville Police Department arrested a Granite Bay woman on June 21 after finding evidence linking her to several fraudulent checks, according to police.

Police said they initially received a tip-off about Brandi Nochka, 43, when a forged check report was filed from a bank at Building 100 on Sunrise Avenue in Roseville.

A search warrant was issued for Noschka’s home in Granite Bay, but she was not at home, and she was eventually located in Citrus Heights, according to police.

Police said they found at least $11,000 in forged checks during the investigation.

Noschka is booked into South Placer County Jail and faces multiple counts of fraud/forgery and burglary.
