If you base your proposal on facts, scientific method, calculations and effectiveness, show your work. Excitedly share your reasons, your sources, and how you arrived at this proposed plan. Better yet, take an attitude that welcomes improvements and corrections to your work, because after all, the purpose of your plan is to make change happen.
If, on the other hand, your proposal is based on beliefs and opinions, please let us know. You are entitled to both. And we are all allowed to disagree.
When we confuse the two, it causes stress. When we feel the need to provide evidence to support our beliefs, we undermine both.
