The quarterback, 45, and model, 42, married in February 2009 but have recently struggled to get on the same page after Brady retired from the NFL.

For her part, Bündchen is concerned about her husband’s health. “She doesn’t want him to keep getting injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future,” the source adds. “She does it for her family.”
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers player announced his decision to return to football earlier this year, just six weeks after initially confirming his retirement.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel shares son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, with Brady. He is also the father of son Jack, 15, who he shares with an ex Bridget Moynahan. Bündchen referred to their children one of the few times she spoke of the athlete returning to the field.
“Obviously, I have concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my kids and I would like him to be more present. I definitely had these conversations with him over and over,” she told Elle on their cover story in October 2022. “But in the end, I feel like everyone has to. Make a decision that suits them [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
The environmental activist explained: “I did my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston [when he played for the Patriots]I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow in and to be there to support him and his dreams. …seeing my children succeed and become beautiful young human beings, seeing him succeed, and be fulfilled in his career – it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job at it.”

Even the couple’s inner circle is frustrated with Brady. “Giselle and Tom’s friends are upset with Tom for going back on his promise and coming out of retirement,” a source revealed to Us earlier this month. “They hate the way Tom refuses to bow to Gisele.”
