Dompu, Bimakini. – The Regional Government through the Dompu Regency Social Service accommodates thousands of poor people as participants of the free health BPJS funded from the Dompu Regency Regional Budget (APBD).
The Head of Data, PSKS and Social Welfare Information, Dompu Regency Social Service, Sadarudin SE., Wednesday (28/09/2022) stated that there are around 45 thousand more participants who have been registered in the government’s health insurance program in the 2022 fiscal year.
He said the program was financed from the Dompu Regency APBD with class III health services. Participants registered in the health insurance program are really poor people as evidenced by a certificate of incapacity from the village and/or sub-district government.
He explained that the requirements to be registered in the program were Dompu residents who were considered incapable. If they meet the requirements, they will be accommodated in the BPJS health program whose costs are borne by the local government with class III services.
“Anyone who registers, as long as he shows a poor certificate from the village and or sub-district we serve in the program. This year, registered participants have met the quota in accordance with the availability of the budget. In addition, there are also free BPJS health participants funded by the state budget. The name is the PBI JK program, there are around 11,000 registered participants,” he said. AZW
