Teen Girl Chokes To Death After “Hijab” Caught in Go Kart
A teenage girl named Ruwaida Adan suffocated to death after her “Hijab” got caught during a Go Kart race with her friends.
A 15-year-old Muslim girl died in a horror accident after her hijab, known as the “Hijab” got stuck in a go-kart. The incident occurred when the victim was racing Go Kart with his friends.
People at Capital Karts in Barking, East London forgot to instruct Ruwaida to remove her hijab before the trip. The racing course has a policy of removing all loose clothing to avoid accidents. According to the victim’s parents, Ruwaida did not always wear the hijab.
According to the investigation, the ends of Ruwaida’s scarf were hanging from his helmet and coat. However, two parts of his cart that were designed to hold loose clothing became entangled and also damaged.
The rescue team immediately responded and took the victim to the hospital. The teenage woman suffered from a hypoxic brain injury and asphyxiation, which led to her untimely death four days after the incident.
The Walthamstow Examiner Court jury said that no mechanic checked Ruwaida before getting into her go-cart. The incident reportedly occurred on August 6, 2021.
“There is no security check that confirms that Ruwaida removed her hijab before getting into her car. There was no daily mechanical check on August 6, 2021. On the Ruwaida wagon, the plastic drive belt guard for the rear axle was missing and the rear seat guard was damaged,” said the jury.
The victim’s family described Ruwaida as a kind, caring, loving, strong and wise girl. The family is also saddened by the incident.
