Dynamite Entertainment has announced the upcoming Sonjaverse crossover Sonja Red/Hell Sonja from writer Jordan Clark and artist Miriana Puglia, set to launch in January.
“Glad to be back!” said Clark. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Samurai Sonja and this is an opportunity to try and expand things even further. When the idea Sonja Red/Hell Sonja story brought to me, my mind went straight to cosmic horror. For the two to work together again, it would require a sizeable threat, and what threat is greater than your own sanity? ”
Red Sonja / Hell Sonja tells the story of Hell on Earth. Hell itself has begun to relent, forcing Hell Sonja to escape through a portal… she finds herself stranded on Earth, helpless, but still being hunted by evil from her home dimension. There is only one warrior strong enough to help him fight the terrible creatures of Hell: Red Sonja! Hell may not have the fury of women’s scorn – but Hell is in real danger when it comes to two Sonjas!
