“According to our immigration records, Surya Darmadi is currently not in Singapore,” said an official statement from the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted from its official website, Saturday (6/8/2022).

In the statement, Singapore stated that it was willing to provide assistance to Indonesia if Indonesia submitted an official request to Singapore. This will be done in accordance with international law and obligations mutually agreed between Indonesia and Singapore.

“If Indonesia submits a formal request to Singapore with the necessary supporting information, Singapore will provide Indonesia with the necessary assistance, within the scope of our international law and obligations,” he said.
