Four months after it was first announced at Computex 2022, the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors are finally hitting retail stores worldwide today. That includes Malaysia and if you have waited, yes, the four new processors can be obtained in our market.
A while ago, AMD has officially revealed the pricing of the new Ryzen 7000 Series products for Malaysia. At the bottom of the list is the Ryzen 5 7600X which has six CPU cores and 12 processing threads that can run up to 5.3GHz. Along with 38MB cache and a 105W TDP rating, this particular processor carries a RM1,399 price tag.

Next on the list is the Ryzen 7 7700X which comes with eight CPU cores and a 16 thread configuration along with 40MB cache and a TDP rating of 105W. While its base clock speed is slightly lower than the 7600X at 5.4GHz, the 7700X can go as high as 5.4GHz and of course, one has to pay a bit more for a processor that costs RM1,899 in our market.
Moving on to the realm of Ryzen 9, the Ryzen 9 7900X has the same base clock speed as the 7600X but the boost clock can go up to 5.6GHz. With 12 CPU cores, 24 processing threads and a 76MB cache behind it, a 170W TDP processor can be had for RM2,699.

As for the high-end Ryzen 7000 Series offerings, the 16-core 32-threads Ryzen 9 7950X runs at clock speeds between 4.5GHz to 5.7GHz. Equipped with 80MB cache, it still has a similar TDP rating of 170W per 7900X and is listed at RM3,399.
