Bitung, BeritaManado.com – Head of the Bitung City Health Office, Dr. Pitter Lumingkewas, stated that the Bitung City Pratama Regional General Hospital (RSUD) will be used as a gift for Bitung City’s 32nd Anniversary, October 10, 2022.
Pratama Hospital said Pitter, the construction has been completed and is ready to be used and will be launched in conjunction with the Bitung City Anniversary.
“Everything has been completed and it’s just a matter of operation. Now, the operation or launching is deliberately chosen for the anniversary of Bitung City as well as a gift for this city,” said Pitter, Friday (30/9/2022).
After the launch, continued Pitter, the Pratama Hospital in Bitung City was able to operate immediately. Currently, he said, his party is currently compiling the personnel structure in the Bitung City Hospital Pratama.
Pitter also conveyed about the hospital facilities, namely 50 beds and mini ICU rooms, mini labs, mini x-rays.
“There are four specialist doctors, namely, one specialist in internal medicine, one pediatrician, one forensic doctor, and one ophthalmologist. And we have contacted several so that they can work at the Bitung Pratama Hospital,” he said.
Not only that, his medical staff already has around 40 employees and will still be added and the recruitment proposal has been submitted to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bitung, Maurits Mantiri-Hengky Honandar.
“After launching, we will focus on accreditation. Accreditation is very important, because if the hospital has not been accredited it will take a long time to develop. Even if you are already accredited. The hospital can already serve BPJS Kesehatan patients,” he said.
