The event also features the finals of The Ultimate Fighter Season 30. In the heavyweight final, the younger brother of UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, Mohammed Usman, faces unbeaten fighter Zac Pauga. In the women’s flyweight final, nine-fight veteran Brogan Walker battles upstart Juliana Miller.

The card also includes a pivotal matchup at 170 pounds when Vicente Luque takes on Geoff Neal. Let’s take a look at four of the biggest bouts on the card and make some predictions for the winners.

UFC predictions: 4 UFC Vegas 59 fighters getting Ws on July 30

Thiago Santos (22-10 vs. Jamahal Hill (10-1)

Beyond his stunning loss to Paul Craig last year where he broke his arm, Hill has been a wrecking machine since he joined the UFC two years ago. While Thiago Santos will be the biggest name he has ever faced, he is not getting the best version of “Marreta.”

UFC News: Dustin Poirier vs Michael Chandler bout reportedly on track for UFC 281 in Nov.

Santos will surely put up a fight and his experience could be a problem for Hill early, but the Brazilian is still 38 and has lost four of his last five. Youth and absurd power will send age and experience home early in the UFC Vegas 59 main event.

  • UFC Vegas 59 odds: Santos (+245), Hill (-295)
  • Prediction: Hill by TKO, Round 3

Zac Pauga (5-0) vs. Mohammed Usman (7-2)

PFL veteran Usman is a very talented athlete. Just like his pound-for-pound superstar brother. He also has legit heavyweight power that needs to be respected. However, he still seems to be missing that ingredient that makes him a 33-year-old MMA prospect to take seriously. His opponent Zac Pauga doesn’t seem to lack that.

While “The Ripper” may not become a title contender one day, the LFA veteran comes from a strong fight camp, is well-rounded, and has some angry dog in him. Look for Pauga to outwork and out-hussle Kamaru’s brother in the TUF heavyweight finals.

  • Odds: Pauga (-250), Usman (+210)
  • Prediction: Pauga by unanimous decision

Juliana Miller (2-1) vs. Brogan Walker (7-2)

Three-fight veteran Juliana Miller was impressive throughout Season 30 of TUF. She proved to be double tough and has a ground game that helped guide her to the finals flyweight tournament. The respect she earned as a part of Team Pena shows in the fact that she is a betting favorite despite her opponent having six more pro fights.

At times, Walker seemed to be an overlooked cast member in this season of the show. At UFC Vegas 59 she has the chance to plant her flag and steal the momentum and hype from Miller. For both, this is a career-defining opportunity.

  • Odds: Miller (-120), Walker (+100)
  • Prediction: Miller by submission, Round 2

Vicente Luque (21-8-1) vs. Geoff Neal (14-4)

Vicente Luque suffered a heartbreaking loss to a red-hot Belal Muhammad in April. He was as close as he has ever been to a title opportunity and suffered a major setback to his title hopes. If he wants to stay in the title picture and try and land a championship fight in 2023, he absolutely needs to beat Geoff Neal.

Neal has long been a talented fighter at welterweight but hasn’t quite reached his potential after eight fights in the Octagon. In Luque, he has a massive opportunity to finally prove he is an elite 170-pound fighter. However, “The Silent Assassin” is a level above and will get back in the win column at UFC Vegas 59.

  • Odds: Luque (-180), Neal (+155)
  • Prediction: Luque by unanimous decision
