Netmarble has decided to stop the development of ‘BTS Dream: TinyTAN House’, the company’s newest BTS-affiliated game in collaboration with HYBE Labels.
‘BTS Dream: TinyTAN House’ is a game featuring TinyTAN BTS characters, combining the challenges of rhythm games with house development. This game was previously promoted as a game where fans can interact closely with the TinyTAN members themselves.
According to Netmarble, “We have done a lot of beta testing in Canada, Thailand, and other countries, and found that there is a significant gap between the preferences of BTS fans and regular users. As we did not get results that matched our plans, we have decided to stop further game development after discussing the findings with HYBE Labels.”
Currently, HYBE Labels and Netmarble have introduced 3 mobile games affiliated with BTS: ‘BTS Island: In the SEOM’, ‘BTS World’, and ‘BTS Universe Story’. With the development of ‘BTS Dream: TinyTAN House’ failed, Netmarble is believed to be moving on to its next project featuring BTS, currently known only as “Project B”.
According to media outlet reports, “Project B” is a game featuring the members of TinyTAN as well as a cooking simulation.
In response to the above report, a representative from HYBE Labels was quick to state, “We will announce new updates at a more convenient time.”
