Modern War II
The first weekend of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta has come and gone and the second weekend is about to begin.
Weekend #1 is all about PlayStation. While Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision is ongoing, the PlayStation/Call Of Duty deal stands—for now. If Microsoft’s purchase goes to plan, this will be the last year we’ll see PS4 and PS5 gamers gain the upper hand in a Call Of Duty release.
But this time, PC and Xbox gamers will have to wait. They can dive back into this weekend into two distinct beta phases. Here’s how it breaks:
Modern War II beta weekend #2 Early Access begins Thursday, September 22 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. It is open to all PlayStation gamers and to PC and Xbox gamers who pre-order or have an Early Access key.
Content creators — like yours really — provided the keys before the beta. Watch the video below for instructions on how to get the beta key on PC or Xbox:
Renew: The giveaway has ended and all beta keys have been distributed to the lucky winners! I do this kind of thing regularly so be sure to subscribe to my channel!
The open beta — which includes all players on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation — begins on Saturday, September 24 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
The beta has been a controversial introduction to Modern Warfare II, with a number of divisive gameplay decisions such as the removal of enemy signboards churning out pots. I’ll be curious to see what everyone thinks.
