Man missing for almost a year found in car plunged into river

KUANTAN – A young man who was reported missing almost a year ago has been found in a vehicle that plunged into the river near Jalan Nenasi-Pekan, Pekan pada at 12:16

Pahang State Fire and Rescue Department Public Relations Officer Zulfadli Zakaria said, Firefighters used two bulldozers to lift the victim’s car from the river.

He added that his party used hydraulic cutters to remove the victim from his car.

“The victim’s body was handed over to the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) for further action,” he said in a statement today.

The victim, Muhammad Iman Aqmar Dzulkarnain, allegedly fell into a river while on his way from his home in Pasir Gudang, Johor to his workplace in Kemaman, Terengganu.

In the incident on October 29, 2021, Muhammad Iman, who started his journey at around 01.30 WIB, was reportedly not present at work until his family was informed by his colleague. – Malaysian Gazette
