Chapter 389 You Know About the Hunter Guild
“How was the investigation about the Hunters Guild?” Jonathan asked, looking coldly at Nelson.
“Commander, we haven’t found anything so far,” Nelson replied, avoiding eye contact with Jonathan.
It was ridiculous for the commander-in-chief of Gronga not to get any information about such an insignificant organization like the Hunter’s Guild. How does he still have the courage to continue working for me?
“Ask George to do some research with you, then.” Jonathan looked at George and added, “How much do you know about the Hunters Guild?”
“Hunter Guild?” Hearing this name, a hint of confusion appeared on Nelson’s face. He said, “I’ve heard quite a bit about it. This is a lowly organization from outside the island.”
Gronga is different from the mainland.
There are foreign investments as well as illegal organizations from abroad.
Despite being in a complex environment, this leafy organization was unable to develop. This is thanks to the close supervision of the Gronga Police and Kopassus. Once they see something wrong, they will get rid of it.
“Asura, are you trying to eliminate them?” asked George.
“I’m not in a rush,” Jonathan replied, shaking his head.
If he wanted to eradicate the Hunters Guild, he didn’t need to appear personally. With a simple command, Hades would lead the army and wipe out the entire organization in less than three days.
All members will die without exception.
However, what Jonathan wanted to do was not destroy the Hunters Guild. Instead, he wanted to know the legendary secret besides who killed his parents and who gave the order to do so.
It didn’t matter whether that person was in Gronga or abroad, as long as he knew who gave the orders, he would ensure that that person would pay the highest price.
“You just need to see who the leader of the Hunters Guild is and where the members are hiding. Don’t forget to also investigate who is providing them with financial support. Just leave the rest to me,” Jonathan said. With that, she subconsciously turned to Jamie. As Jonathan’s gaze fell on Jamie, Jamie felt his knees buckle in an instant. He knelt to the ground and hurriedly shook his head as he explained, “Asura, the Hunters Guild has nothing to do with my family! Also, we have never provided financial support to any foreign organization!”
The Larson family became the most prominent family in Gronga with their own strengths and abilities. They don’t do it opportunistically, nor do they use underhand means.
Jamie knew all too well why his family had been able to stand strong in Gronga for decades. If he dared to betray the island, the governor’s office would immediately get rid of his family.
It’s definitely not a joke.
“You don’t need to be so nervous. I’m not referring to you. Gazing intently at Jamie, Jonathan continued, “Besides, if you can tap into your personal resources, help me do a thorough investigation of the Hunters Guild, and get the information I want. I will return the favor. At that time, I might as well return everything on behalf of the Larson family to you. ”
“Is it right?” Jamie’s face lit up as soon as he heard that he had a chance to get his belongings back.
He never imagined Jonathan would give him such an opportunity.
At first, Jamie thought he was going to die this time.
However, to his surprise, not only was his life saved, but Jonathan even gave him the opportunity to take back his family’s assets.
“I’ve never lied to anyone in my life,” Jonathan said matter-of-factly, “Besides, do you think you’re qualified enough to make me lie to you?”
“Asura, you don’t have to worry. I will do my best to investigate the Hunters Guild,” Jamie said as he bowed to Jonathan.
“Furthermore, you’d better keep quiet about me taking your family’s assets. The public should know that they are still yours. However, you only own one percent of the shares. If you do your job well, I will return the shares to you little by little. With no emotion on his face, Jonathan said, “I have absolutely no interest in Larsons. The reason I took your family assets is because I wanted to teach you a small lesson. Do you understand?”
“Yes, I am willing!” Jamie exclaimed, nodding immediately.
“You can all go now,” Jonathan said. After taking care of the matter, he waved at them, signaling them to leave.
He had brought Cecilia there that day only because she wanted to settle the Hansleys’ problems. Now that the matter had been resolved, it was time for him to leave.
“Yes, Asura!” After receiving Jonathan’s orders, everyone immediately left.
The next moment, only Jonathan and Cecilia were left at the top of the hill. Obviously, Wilson’s body was there too.
“Why don’t you go?” Jonathan asked flatly when he saw Cecilia who was still standing beside him.
“I am your servant. Wherever you go, I will follow,” Cecilia replied. By then, he had already adjusted his state of mind.
She no longer hated Jonathan. On the contrary, he was quite happy.
Being the third daughter of the Hansley family was nothing compared to being Asura’s servant.
Even though he was only a servant, as long as he stayed by Jonathan’s side, even George, the governor of Gronga, had to treat him with respect.
The only reason was because she was Jonathan’s servant.
Anyone who dared disrespect him meant they didn’t respect Jonathan.
“Come with me then,” Jonathan said. After giving Cecilia a nonchalant look, she started walking down the hill.
Meanwhile, at the foot of the hill, countless members of the Police Tactical Unit had retreated.
Only the bumpkins, as well as the citizens who didn’t know what was going on at the top of the hill, were busy whispering amongst themselves.
They try to guess what happened there.
After Jonathan and Cecilia came down from the hill, a resident immediately approached them and asked, “Young man, what really happened up there? What’s with the commotion? I even saw military helicopters flying overhead. Did an important figure appear?”
“Maybe,” Jonathan replied casually.
“Didn’t you just come down from the hill? Did you see the big hit? ‘ asked the residents further.
“No, I don’t,” Jonathan replied, shaking his head.
As soon as Cecilia heard the citizens’ questions, she couldn’t help pursing her lips.
Isn’t the big man in question standing in front of you? It’s not anyone’s fault that you can’t recognize him.
Then, Jonathan hails a taxi to go downtown. On the way there, Cecilia asked, “Master, where are we headed?”
“To the hotel,” Jonathan said. Then, he continued, “I’ve been here for quite some time. It’s time for me to find a place to live.”
“Why don’t you come to the Hansley residence?” Cecilia asked in a low voice.
“There’s no need for that,” Jonathan replied, shaking his head.
Even though Hansley’s residence was spacious, he wasn’t the least bit interested. In addition, he always disliked living in unfamiliar places, especially other people’s houses.
He might already have the Hansley residence under his own, but he still rejected the idea of living there.
“Oh, right. Sir, I heard you mentioned the Hunters Guild earlier. I’m not sure if it’s the same organization I’ve heard of before,” Cecilia said softly.
“You know the Hunters Guild?” Jonathan’s eyes suddenly lit up.
