ERA.id – Former Spokesperson for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Febri Diansyah and former Head of the Drafting of Regulations and Legal Products at the KPK Legal Bureau, Rasamala Aritonang became the new lawyers for Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi.
They have also reconstructed the house of suspect Ferdy Sambo in Magelang, Central Java. It aims to get an objective picture of the case.
“As a form of our seriousness to assist the case objectively, we have done a number of things, namely, reconstructing houses in Magelang,” said Febri during a press conference at the Erian Hotel, Jl. Wahid Hasyim, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (28/09/2022).
However, Febri did not explain what the results of the reconstruction in Magelang were like. He only mentioned that the material from the case title had been discussed with a psychologist.
“Having discussions with five psychologists, both professors of psychology, clinical psychology experts, and forensic psychology,” he continued.
It is known that the incident in Magelang was that Putri Candrawati claimed to have been sexually abused by Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadier J). This allegation of sexual harassment was reported by Putri Candrawati but has been SP3 by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
Furthermore, Febri revealed that Ferdy Sambo admitted that he was wrong for killing Brigadier J and was ready to take responsibility for his actions.
“I realize that explaining information related to the case to the public at this time is not easy, because previously there had been shooting scenarios that we all know about,” explained Febri.
He wants his client to get rights in the trial later.
