INDOZONE.ID – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated Yohannes Tanak as Vice Chair of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the 2019-2023 term. Yohannes was inaugurated at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday (October 28, 2022).
Yohannes Tanak’s inauguration was based on Presidential Decree (Kipris) No. 103/P on the appointment of the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission, which was read by Deputy Administrative Affairs Ministry of State Secretariat Nanek Purwante.
After reading the presidential decree, Yohannes Tanak was sworn in under President Jokowi.
Yohannes Tanak said, “I promise that I will always refuse, accept or not want to be affected by anyone’s interference, and I will remain steadfast in carrying out my duties and the powers that the law imposes on me. May God help me.”

Yohannes Tanak was appointed Vice-President of the Kurdistan Communist Party based on the general meeting of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on (9/29/2022). The general meeting approved and ratified Yohannes Tanak as KPK leader for 2019-2023.
The decision to appoint Yohannes Tanak after the Third Committee of the Indonesian House of Representatives held the suitability and suitability test results on September 28, 2022 against two candidates to lead the KPK, Yohannes Tanak and the auditor of the Supreme Audit Agency. Yohannes Tanak replaces Lily Pintauli Sregar
The Third Committee of the Democratic Republic of the Congo conducted a proper and valid test after there was a vacancy in the position of Vice Chairman of the KPK after the resignation of Lili Bentaoli Siregar due to her dismissal by President Joko Widodo through Presidential Decree (Keppres) RI No. 71/P/2022 of July 11 2022.
