Folsom, CA (KTXL) – An old tradition in Folsom is back for another year this 4th of July weekend.
Folsom Pro Rodeo drew thousands of fans into the arena on Saturday for its endless action, fun, and excitement.
Fans who attended Friday night said it was busier.
“Great experience! Good food, good drinks, and great people. Everyone is very friendly,” explained one attendee.
About 6,500 people each night get to experience the National Honor, lamb chops, live motocross, and everything else the rodeo has to offer.
“Day two, we’re rolling around and it’s fun. We sell out the crowds every night,” said Jennifer Cliff of Folsom Pro Rodeo. “It’s a good time to celebrate America and celebrate the community, it’s been a tough few years, and this is a perfect way to break it all down.”
While many were having fun inside the ring, others were enjoying their time outside.
“It’s a belt buckle and it’s also a cup holder, so it allows me to take two drinks at the same time. It’s very effective,” said Scott Tully, another person at the event.
Sunday night will be Folsom Pro Rodeo Military Night where you will celebrate the local soldiers who have served the United States and make sure their efforts are not forgotten.
