Drake and 21 Savage’s collaborative album Her loss is late. The two rappers have announced that the album, which was scheduled to be released on Friday, October 28, has been postponed for now.
The album’s producer, Noah “40” Shebib, has been infected with Covid-19, the artists have revealed, which has caused the album to be delayed. Keep reading to find out when Her loss it will finally come out.

Her loss will now see the light on Friday, November 4. Both Drake and 21 Savage announced the news on their Instagram stories. They wrote: “Our brother @OVO40 contracted COVID mixing and owning crack so he’s resting and November 4th is HER LOSE day, see you soon.”
The development has also been confirmed by OVO Sound, the record company that is releasing the album with a post on Twitter. The caption read, “DVSN ‘Working On My Karma’ 10/28, Drake & 21 ‘Her Loss’ 11/4 @dvsn @Drake @21savage”
While some fans were disappointed with the news, others had a funny reaction to the situation, with one writing, “As soon as Drake saw Rihanna leaving he decided to delay the album,” and another replying, “So it’s delayed ? Her loss? More like our loss now…”

The release of Her loss it was announced just six days before the scheduled October 22 launch date. The announcement was made in the middle of the music video Jimmy CooksDrizzy and Savage 21 latest collaboration featured on debut album Sincerely, Nevermind.
“LOSS OF HER – ALBUM BY DRAKE AND 21 SAVAGE – OCTOBER 28, 2022” appeared on screen near the halfway point of the music video. Sincerely, Nevermind is Drake’s seventh studio album, which was released in June of this year, just hours after it was announced, and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Drake and 21 Savage have a long history of collaboration
until Her loss is highly anticipated, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time the two music stars have collaborated. The two have also developed a great friendship over the years, with the rappers speaking highly of each other on several occasions. “If I wasn’t a rapper, I don’t think I’d still be listening to Drake, really,” Savage had said at one point. His manager Meezy had previously revealed that the two don’t even discuss the monetary aspects of their collaborations.
“Drake is just a genuine and kind hearted person. He did a lot of things he shouldn’t have done. He does a lot of sh*t for upcoming rappers, period. I don’t think he has respect for that. Every year, it attracts a new artist. No other artist at his level does that,” 21 Savage said in another interview.
