Davante Adams calls the Raiders quarterback Derek Carr Hall of Famer

Here’s one you’ve probably never heard of: the Derek Carr case, quarterback Hall of Fame.

This may sound odd, but Davante Adams, Carr’s two-year teammate at Fresno State, is pushing for it.

“Anytime you change your quarterback from Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer… it would be a small adjustment,” Adams told CBS Sports.

Adams quarterback with the Packers from 2014-21, Aaron Rodgers, definitely deserves to join Canton when he retires.

Carr? He may have a lot to do to be on the table. Fans also analyzed the comparison on Twitter.

Anyway, Adams, who got more than 1,500 yards last season, can at least help Carr get closer. He joined the Raiders this year in a deal from the Packers in March and now sits atop their depth chart at the wide receiver.

Carr, while not likely a Hall of Famer, is definitely a capable quarterback.

Derek Carr threw the best performance of his career at 4,804 yards last season, but he also had 14 career high interceptions.

The 31-year-old has crossed the 4,000-yard mark in each of the past four years, which included his career best of 4,804 yards last season. He also averaged 24 touchdowns during his eight-year career, although he also threw 85 interceptions during that time, including his 14 worst hits last year.

However, expectations will be higher in Las Vegas this season with Adams in the mix.
