Chief Sheriff: 9 police officers in question have not been transferred to Shasha

KOTA KINABALU: The nine police officers involved in the extortion case have not yet been deployed to Sabah or Sarawak.

According to Utusan Malaysia, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Akri Shani said the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) had followed Sasha’s complaint on the matter.

“I have instructed the police administration to take further action and review matters related to this matter.”

“We appreciate feedback from the Sabah and Sarawak governments.”

On Tuesday, Selangor Deputy Police Commissioner S Sasikala Devi said nine police officers involved in the Selangor extortion case had been sent to Sabah and Sarawak for duty.

Yesterday, Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji said he took seriously the transfer of nine police officers involved in disciplinary matters to Sa Sa, and pointed out that such a move must first seek the opinion of the Sabah government.
