“Yes, this year the sacrifice is a cow, in collaboration with Pak Solihin. So I’m not alone,” said Krisna Mukti when met in the Bekasi area.
Of course, Krisna Mukti feels lucky to still be given the opportunity to sacrifice on this year’s Eid al-Adha. Moreover, for the past two years all Muslims have been unable to perform the Qurban due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Alhamdulillah, today, on Eid al-Adha in 2022, I had the opportunity to sacrifice with my colleague Mr. Solihin in Bekasi City. I and Mr. Solihin chose this place because indeed I collaborated to sacrifice this year with Mr. Solihin. I think the most appropriate is where Mr. Solihin lives, namely in Bekasi,” said Krisna Mukti.
“After two years we are not allowed to make sacrifices because of the COVID-19 pandemic, thank God this year we are still given the opportunity to sacrifice,” he continued.

Although he was very enthusiastic, Krisna Mukti admitted that he could not bear to see the process of slaughtering sacrificial animals. Even so, Krisna Mukti believes that the sacrificial animals will go to Heaven and will become vehicles for Muslims who sacrifice to go to Heaven.
“Many young and old people come here to see the slaughter. Some are enthusiastic, some are horrified, some have tears in their eyes. I am one of those who shed tears because I can’t bear to see these animals being slaughtered. I actually saw this sacrifice. Especially when it was cut, I couldn’t bear to see it,” he explained.
“But I believe that if we sacrifice, these animals will enter heaven and will take us to Allah SWT’s paradise. So even though I love animals, because this is a statute of worship and a decree from Allah SWT, I can’t help but have the heart to see it,” concluded Krisna. Mukti.
