Broncos QB Russell Wilson Got Heckled During His Dartmouth Commencement Speech (VIDEO)

Russell Wilson boasts many impressive labels that include NFL superstar, Super Bowl champion, and nine-time Pro Bowler. However, he will never be able to live down one moment in his career he wishes he could take back.

The Denver Broncos quarterback was invited to Dartmouth College to give the prestigious university’s commencement speech. But it wasn’t the speech everybody is talking about.

A video shared on TikTok from the graduation shows one person in the crowd heckling Wilson as he went up to the stage. “Hey! Malcolm Butler!” the person could be heard yelling, which is a clear reference to Super Bowl XLVIII, when New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler picked off Wilson in the endzone to win the game.

The Broncos quarterback was additionally awarded an honorary degree from Dartmouth president Philip J. Hanlon, recognizing his significant accomplishments both on and off the field.

Wilson, 33, made 14 starts in 2021, missing games for the first time in his 10-year career due to injury. He passed for a career-low 3,113 yards with 25 touchdowns and six interceptions.

As part of the trade that sent him from Seattle to Denver, the Broncos got the QB and a fourth-round pick, while the Seahawks will get two first-round picks, two second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, quarterback Lock, defensive tackle Shelby Harris and tight-end Noah Fant.
