KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 – UMNO Division Head Shah Alam Datuk Azhari Shaari was disappointed with the condition of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium (SNBJ) when the field conditions worsened due to heavy rains that fell more than two hours before the match started.
The reason is, according to him, SNBJ was once labeled as one of the most beautiful and modern venues in the area, but in reality it is far from the technical facilities in the stadium.
“It is not only the problem of the field, but also the problem of basic facilities at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Does the person he appoints know about how to want to manage stadium facilities and facilities?
“When PPBM Vice President Ahmad Faizal Azumu appointed the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mohd Faidz Sanusi as Director General at the Malaysian Perbadanan Stadium.
“What if outsiders saw a situation like this when there was a big game at SNBJ? This will surely embarrass the country,” he said via his Facebook page.
Meanwhile, Azhari added, denying the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who spent RM10 million for the cost of increasing the SNBJ.
“I hope Syed Saddiq can answer why he spent RM10 million but the field is still lacking quality? The cost of RM10 million to upgrade the Bukit Jalil National Stadium field is a question mark?
“If we follow the statement of Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) Tunku Ismail Idris Abdul Majid Abu Bakar Iskandar ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the cost does not reach RM1.5 million to upgrade a field like at Larkin Stadium.
“This cost RM10 million and even the cost of waterproofing equipment is not included in the cost. Workers have to use garbage shovels to push water.
He stressed that this is a new SNBJ, have not seen Shah Alam Stadium, very sad. – UMNO Online
