The Italian Ministry of Finance today placed 5 billion euros in semiannual BOT, with yields rising sharply. In detail, 5 billion Bots on 182 days (due March 31, 2023) were assigned with a simple weighted average yield of 1.978%, up 117 basis points compared to the previous auction. Demand was €7.1 billion, with a coverage ratio of 1.42 (up from 1.46 last month).
