Appears on TUV Rheinland Certification Page, Samsung Galaxy A02 Will Bring 5,000mAh Battery – Samsung is reportedly working on two new low-cost smartphones, the Galaxy A02 and Galaxy M02. Especially for the Galaxy A02, this device has received a number of certifications such as Bluetooth SIG, FCC, and NBTC. Now, the newest hero of Samsung it has just received TUV Rheinland certification which reveals the specifications of the battery and charger used.

Quoted from Root MyGalaxy (via Sammobile), smartphones Samsung with the model number SM-A025M has appeared in the Latin American CPQD R&D center and has the brand name ‘A02‘. The device is the same as the previously issued Bluetooth certification for model number SM-A025F.

This further strengthens the notion that the device is indeed the latest Samsung Galaxy A02. Furthermore, the list also contains information on the numbers for batteries and chargers with the HQ-50S and EP-TA200B model series.

Additionally, a device with a similar battery model number (HQ-50S) was recently spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification page. On the page it is known, the device has a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh. Then for charging devices with model number EP-TA200B, in the SGS Fimko column it is known that the series is a charger with a maximum output of 15W.

If the information above is correct, the Galaxy A02 will bring a battery increase of around 60% compared to its predecessor Galaxy A01 which is only equipped with a battery with a capacity of 3,000 mAh.

Galaxy A02 Specifications (Rumors)

Talking about the core specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A02 is likely to feature an HD + resolution screen with a size of 5.7 inches. Previous reports said the device will most likely come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC chipset support.

As for the memory configuration used, it will be available in two variants of 2/3GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage. For photography purposes, it is likely that Samsung will embed two 13MP and 2MP lenses on the back. As well as an 8MP lens for the selfie camera.

Initial Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications reveal that the device will have Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n for connectivity. Even so, we can also expect the presence of features such as 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS for navigation.
