Meanwhile, Alor Gajah District Police Chief Superintendent Arshad Abu said further investigations are being carried out in accordance with Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
He explained that all the bodies were sent to the Forensic Medicine Unit of Alor Gajah Hospital for post-mortem process.
“The accident also caused a traffic jam of more than five kilometers. As a result of the investigation at the scene, it was established that the Isuzu type truck which was carrying out repair work in the middle of the road had stopped in the right lane and was in the process of placing a cone.
“While the victim’s Honda Jazz car coming from behind hit the truck.
