Hajiji gave words of encouragement to the recipients of the BKNS award.
KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor presented the Sabah State Government Scholarship (BKNS) award to 10 STPM high-achievers in a ceremony held at Menara Kinabalu here today.
Hajiji also gave words of encouragement to perfect CGPA 4.0 students who were about to continue their studies at local universities.
He hopes that they will continue to seek academic excellence and assist in the development of the country after completing their studies.
In addition to the BKNS award, the students also received RM3,000 each contributed by the Chief Minister.

The recipients of the BKNS award are Azza Nazeerah Norsidi (Maktab Sabah Kota Kinabalu), Fredelina Franklin Frankey (St. Peter Vocational School, Telipok), Mary Cassandra Christinus (Limbanak Vocational School, Penampang), Mohammad Haqim Roslan (Tamparuli Vocational School), Feiron Umpil @ Felix (Vocational High School). Tambunan), Umm Zafirah Kaderi (Usukan Vocational School, Kota Belud), Krestyelah Ubid (Ranau Vocational School), Farrah Nurainn Fatman (Marudu City Vocational School), Norshafika Mohd Jul (Abdul Rahim Vocational School, Kudat) and Chan Khor Yee (Sixth Form College Datuk Pengiran Galpam (A) Sandakan).
Also present were Minister of Special Tasks Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif and Director of the Sabah Foundation Datuk Ghulam Haidar Khan Bahadar.
Accompanying the students were the Director General of the State Public Service Department Datuk Rosmadi Sulai, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Datuk Haji Zainudin Aman, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development Datuk Norlijah Danin and Secretary of the Minister of Special Tasks Sapdin Ibrahim.
